Ronald Keith Shippee

1931 ~ 2015

Ronald \Keith\ died peacefully in his sleep at home next to his wife of 46 years. Our family lost a good husband and father. Always calm and gentle, he blessed us with years of love and leadership.

Keith proudly served our nation during the Korean conflict aboard the USS Menard as Radio Man Second Class. Following his military service, he worked professionally as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. However, his proudest moments were spent around the love of his life and his children.

As we lay Keith to rest, we count ourselves grateful to have him in our lives. Now he can finally explore the cosmos and beyond, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and love.

Keith is survived by his wife Bette, sons Steve, Mike (Helmi), Darren, Jared (Rachel), Adam, Keith\s sister Elaine D. Jarrett, and six grandchildren, Taylor, Michael, Amara, Aiden, Alana, and Ronald Tye.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to services at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary.
