Lois Jean Quillen Fenn passed away early on the morning of July 9, 2014, following a long battle with heart disease. Jean will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Jean was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mark H. Quillen and Rubey Bailey Quillen on September 24, 1929. She married Herbert W. Fenn, her husband of 60 years, on January 15, 1949. They were the parents of two sons and two daughters.
Known for her creative talents and ability to make a friend and be a friend, she was loved by everyone. She was an award winning quilter, painter, baker, and an awesome cook! Her smile would light up a room. Jean was a wise and loving mother and grandmother. She had a generous, kind heart and supported many in need throughout her life. She had unmatched strength, courage, and stamina.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband and by her son Mark. She is survived by son Glenn Fenn (JoAnn), daughters June Fenn and Sherry Fenn, grandson Lucas Fenn, granddaughter Kristine Fenn, and great granddaughter McKenna.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 East and 1300 South in Salt Lake City. Viewing from 9:00 ‚ 10:45 a.m.
