Stella B. Springer, age 92, passed away July 26, 2014 in Salt Lake City. She was born July 22, 1922 to Jessie and Nancy Delaney White in Garrard County, Kentucky.
Stella met her husband of 53 years, Arthur, in Hamilton, Ohio. They were married in Newport, Kentucky, when she was just 15 years old. She attended school in Richmond, Kentucky. Harvey Aluminum was her place of work for 20 years. Her passion in life was caring for her family and spending time with them.
Stella is survived by her sons: Lucky Springer (Linda) of Tujunga, CA, Rick Springer (Debra) of Salt Lake City; stepson Arthur Springer Jr (Sharon) of Middleton, OH, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Arthur P. Springer, her four brothers Bill White, Chester White, Earl White and Angle-Thomas White. Also preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, where friends and family may visit Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
