Samantha " Sammie J" Jane Allred

2012 ~ 2023

Samantha Jane Allred passed to the other side of the veil on January 31, 2023 at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Samantha or Sammie J, as she was known to her family, was born on November 3, 2012. Sammie completed our family in every way. She was the youngest of 6 children. Sammie loved to cuddle with her siblings; Tanner, Dallin, Ellie, Stephen and Topher. Despite the fact that she was never able to speak, she connected without words. Although she had many physical challenges, she was always content. She taught us many things; including joy, unconditional love, and patience through trials.

Sammie will forever be remembered, loved and adored. She was absolutely delightful. She was the center of our lives and brought our family much happiness.

Sammie attended school at Jordan Valley. She loved music and would sway when she heard it. Her favorite music was from the Disney movie Frozen. It had been on repeat for years. She loved to laugh and smile. Her presence could fill the room as her love and spirit was palpable. She will always be our beautiful angel.

Samantha’s family will be hosting a viewing/celebration of life on February 10th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2130 E. Gyrfalcon Drive in Sandy from 6-8 pm. The funeral services will be held at the same location on Saturday February 11th at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rainbow Kids at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sammie made us very happy. In her honor, we ask that those attending the funeral services wear happy colors.

Guestbook/Condolences

Melissa and family, we send love and prayers to your family. We lost an angel on the day Sammie left us. I can imagine she had a glorious reunion with Grandpa Steve on the other side. I loved when Sammie visited Napa and I could look into her beautiful face and greet her. She will be missed but I’m sure she will delight in the work before her.
Love Janice and Ray

I was so sorry when I heard of the passing of you little Sammie. You, and your family were so loving and caring for her. If it is possible to go beyond loving and caring you accomplished that.
You will miss her terribly, but she will always be with you in your heart and memories. Bless you and your family.

We love you guys and have been thinking of and praying for you and will continue to do so. Wish we could be there in person to give you big hugs and attend the ceremony with you to celebrate Sammie’s life. I feel so lucky that we got to meet her on our visits to Utah and feel her special spirit!
