Santiago Uziel Garcia, also known as Santi or Uzi. To his loved ones he will be remembered for his sweet personality and his cheesy smile. To everyone else a stubborn boy who didn’t like to be touched, stuck in the body of an adorable angel you just wanted to squeeze.
A mommy’s boy at heart but a daddy’s boy by bond. His 4 beautiful years were filled with joy, love and family above all else. Besides Spidey, Toy Story and everything Disney, his family is his entire world especially his older brother Enzo. Whether it be spending days with Mom and his cousins or tie at the barbershop with his dad. His family’s love was always in arms reach.
Unfortunately cancer was ultimately the burden of his beautifully short lived life. Through it all “Santito” never lost himself, his sweet soul, or his stubborn habits. He overcame chemo with unimaginable ease, being the soldier he is. We don’t want to think we lost our beloved boy. In fact we gained the most beautiful angel and he won a spot in everyone’s hearts. Santiago will be remembered by a generation of family and will live through is mother Jacqueline, Father Cesar and his older brother his other half Enzo.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S SLC UT 84108 on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a Rosary Service to follow. You may watch the service online through Zoom by clicking on the “Watch Service” button above.

Fuiste una gran alegría en nuestras vidas desde que supimos que venías en camino, cada foto cada video que veíamos tuyo nos hacía sonreír, siempre pidiéndole a Diosito qué nunca soltará tu mano... Ahora que ya no está tu cuerpo con nosotros nos quedamos con esos maravillosos recuerdos que atesoramos en nuestra mente y corazón... Pedimos a Dios y a los Angeles qué te cuiden y te protejan ahora que estás con ellos y no dudes que un día estaremos contigo a tu lado para ser felices....
