Shahla Shahidnouraei, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 06, 2021, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Shahla was born on February 28, 1949, to Mahin Sajadi and Mozafar Shahidnouraei in Tehran, Iran. She married Parviz Panahi in 1975 and moved her family to Salt Lake City to create a better chance of life for her children. Shahla dedicated her life to creating a better future for her family. She leaves as her legacy two children named Reza and Samin.

Shahla was personable and spontaneous. Her passion for travel created a remarkable memory to be cherished and remembered. Her devotion to life always made sparks to her surroundings. Her endless love for her grandchild (Arvin) was unexplainable.

Shahla was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer in October 2020 and is survived by her loving husband Parviz Panahi, son Reza Panahi, daughter Samin Panahi, daughter in law Sanaz Pishrochi, and son in law Amir Behbahanian to her eternity on January 06, 2021. Her love and memory always stay strong. Shahla was a spiritual lady with a great heart. She is dearly missed by all of us. May her soul rest in peace.

A burial ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, January 09 at 9:00 am at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108)
Her family has decided to donate to Huntsman Cancer Institute in replace of reception to support glioblastoma cancer research.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Huntsman cancer institute in memory of Shahla Shahidnouraei.
