1984 ~ 2025
Monday Nov 10, 2025: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
On Friday, October 31, 2025 we said goodbye for a time to our beautiful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend, Shannae Radford Youssefi after a brief but very aggressive illness. Shannae was born on September 22, 1984 to Stan and Susan Radford in Sandy Utah. She was welcomed home by three excited sisters. She graduated from Alta high school and attended Salt Lake community college earning an associate degree.
Shannae met and fell in love with Eli Youssefi. They were married in 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple. Less than a month after being happily married, Shannae was diagnosed with a very advanced late stage cancer. Their first year of marriage became an extremely difficult year of chemotherapy and radiation. With Eli’s help, Shannae not only survived but emerged a stronger person with an even greater compassion for others.
After Eli completed PA school in Utah at the University of Utah, they moved to Springville, California, where Eli began to work as a PA. Shannae quickly fell in love with Springville and the people there. They worked hard building and remodeling an older home, making it a place they could call their own. Their home was a reflection of both Shannae and Eli’s skills and talents. Shannae loved taking care of it and decorating it for holidays.
Shannae and Eli became very involved in Cub Scouts in Springville. Many hours were spent preparing for activities and campouts. She worked hard baking apple cakes, buying soda pop, pizza, beef jerky, and making cotton candy for their fundraisers. Many hours were spent shopping, delivering, and cleaning up in preparation and after these events.
In 2020, Shannae and Eli finally became parents of a beautiful baby boy. They had waited many years for this to happen. She loved to read books and play toys with Alex. Many happy messy days were spent with crafts, slime and dinosaurs. She also enjoyed finding creative ways to help her son learn the alphabet and get ready for school.
Shannae loved to make people laugh, trying to brighten their days. It made her happy just to be able to make people smile and help them. She was truly a bright light with an amazing smile for anyone, it didn’t matter who you were. We all love you, Shannae, and look forward to seeing you again.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM November 5, 2025 at Porterville Funeral Center, 765 W. Henderson Avenue, Porterville, California. There will be a viewing at 10:00 to 10:45 AM.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S) Sandy, UT).
We are hosting a short celebration of life here in Utah where Shannae grew up on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ward house on 1880 E. 9800 S., Sandy, Utah.
