Sharlot Sherwood Brown, age 78, died May 22, 2022, in Mesa, AZ.
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter & friend left us to be with our Heavenly Father on May 22, 2022. Sharlot was born June 30, 1943, in Phoenix, AZ to William Hubbell and Martha Mitchell Sherwood. Throughout her life she lived in AZ, WA, UT, AK, ID, and CO. Sharlot was married to Donald Keith Brown on February 23, 1965, in Couer d’Alene, ID and was sealed to him in the Idaho Falls temple the following January. She graduated from Yakima Valley College in 1965, and BYU, in 1968. She was a RN and loved helping others in their hour of need; her favorite position was working in the newborn nursery. She served in the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1996 to 1997. She enjoyed tying baby quilts, reading, working on genealogy, traveling and temple service, as well as spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Roxanne (Todd) Freestone Amalga, UT, Wendee (Lauren) Guido, Salt Lake City, UT; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson.
Her daughters cannot express how much they appreciate the love and caring Sharlot’s brother Paul and wife Susan provided to her, especially during the last few years of her life.
