Sharon Ann Donahue passed away on January 26, 2026. She was born July 18, 1958, in Jamaica Queens, New York, the only child and daughter of Michael Joseph Donahue and Gladys Maryland Bandlow Donahue. She was baptized at the age of 17 into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the church shaped her adult life. She enjoyed family history, working both to locate her own ancestors and helping others do the same.
She was an alumnus of Brigham Young University, graduating in August of 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a corporate agent for Morris Travel, primarily making arrangements for the Federal Government employees. She also worked for the Marriott Corporation for nearly 22 years, working in various capacities in reservations and their customer loyalty program.
After selling her condominium, she lived independently at the Lincoln Towers for a year and enjoyed her beautiful apartment. She was able to use her motorized wheelchair to go to church across the street. She moved to a care center, and then to St. Joseph Villa, where she found friends among the staff and was very active and involved in the St. Joseph Branch. She spent time there training residents to do family history work which she dearly loved. She as an avid reader and studied the Book of Mormon.
She is survived by three cousins and their families: Richard and Teresa Stravino, their son Nicholas and daughter Marisa, residing in New York; Edward and Donna Church, their son Patrick residing in New Hampshire; and Kathy Bandlow residing in Maine.

She cherished her beautiful calico cat named Callie, who passed in 2018.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 2, 2026, 1:00 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
