Sharon Christine Keith, known affectionately as Chris, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 14, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 3, 1953, also in Salt Lake City to Marion Francis Vanover Jr and Anita Mae Hreinson.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, survived by her beloved son, Aaron Vanover, and daughter-in-law, Cherry Vanover. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Hreinson Vanover, Valerie Vanover, and Aaron Vanover Jr, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
In addition to her immediate family, Chris is survived by her sister, Vanda Kercher, and brother-in-law, Karl Kercher, along with her brother, Gene Vanover. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Shantae, Brad, Jenny, Jason, Matthew, Laci, Amanda, Arron, and Becky. She shared a special bond with all of them, built on a foundation of love and lifelong memories.
Chris was known for her kind heart, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to those she held dear. She touched the lives of many with her spirit and compassionate nature.
As we mourn the loss of Chris, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to have known her. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.
A celebration to honor and remember Chris will be held at 14977 South Roundtree, Draper, Utah on February 24, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
