Music was an integral part of Shauna’s life. She had a beautiful alto voice and was an accomplished pianist. Together with her husband, she entertained at countless weddings, parties, church functions, and concerts in several states. Music was always a part of the family's daily life.

Shauna found joy and artistic expression in puzzles, making nutcrackers, and sewing colorful quilts. Shauna made and donated hundreds of her quilts to local fire and police departments to provide warmth and comfort for people in crisis.

Shauna was a strong, wise, and passionate woman. She was a great listener. She faced and endured some of the most difficult emotional and physical burdens this mortal life could impose. The family is grateful to her many friends, ward members, and professional staff at Beacon Crest Senior Living for their endless care, support, and kindness.

Shauna, We are so grateful to have known both you and Bill. Loved the southern 4x4 trip, the volleyball ward games, the card playing over at Perkins house. I remember how kind you were to give me a lot of your seminary information for my filing system-I learned so much from you Shauna. You were always kind, always ready to be a friend when someone needed you. Thank you for your friendship. I'll bet you were happy to see Bill and he you, you know he was just waiting so the both of you could sing and preach the gospel to those on the other side. What a wonderful couple you and Bill are. We are grateful for the both of you and your friendship. Love you.
To the children: Sorry for the loss of your mom, she was and still is a very special person. You should be proud of her, she was so proud of you.

I worked with Shauna at Hillcrest Seminary for many years. She was a very good friend and partner in the office. So sorry she had such a difficult time these last few years. She is a good woman who lived what she believed.
