Shawn Keith Johnson passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022. He was born on July 29, 1952, to Glen Keith and Marie Antoinette McCandless Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 10 am at the Salt Lake City Cemetery located at 4th Ave & N Street, Salt Lake City, Utah
The routing to the grave is, Main Street to Hillside, take Hillside all the way to the top, go across 11th Ave., and into the North Plat.
Shawn was an incredible man with a kind heart. I worked with him for over 25 years. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.....
I hope all goes well at Shawn's graveside funeral. We are sorry we cannot attend. Shawn & i have been friends since the beginning of Richards II Ward. He always liked to tease me about my being his Sunday School teacher. We had a good class. We have continued to keep in touch since moving back to my home here in Sugar House. He met my husband, Denny, and they also grew in friendship. We kept in touch with Shawn both by phone and visits.
Shawn was always kind and thoughtful of others. He had a good testimony of the Gospel. We are sorry to hear of his passing, but glad he is now relieved of all his physical ailments. Chari & Denny Engle
I am so sorry to hear of Shawn's passing. We were friends in Junior High and high school and I was in contact with him just a couple of years ago. I know he was suffering from health issues when we last spoke. He was a kind soul and will be missed. Blessings to his family.
