Our mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13th, 2023. She was born on September 22nd, 1931 to Riley Lee Young and Rowena Johnson Young in Helper, Utah. She came from a large family of 13 siblings.

Sheilla married Daniel Kravet on August 17th, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. She lived in California for 17 years before moving back to Utah in 1970, where she remained until her passing.

Sheilla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved going to Wendover with her daughter and sisters, finding treasures at garage sales, playing cards with her hand-held poker machine, and attending Bingo nights. She also enjoyed caring for her flowers and gardening. She had a passion for shopping for clothes, purses and shoes. She looked forward to family reunions at Liberty Park. Sheilla loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a grandmother to one great great granddaughter.

A special thank you to her care givers from Good Shepard Hospice, Peggy, Barbara, Shantel and Kaylee. With gratitude from her family for the loving and compassionate care provided to her.

We will love and miss you mom.

Survived by her daughter Michelle (Tracy) Draper; sister Nancee Sevey; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings and Daniel Kravet.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20th at 12:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to services at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City.
