Guestbook/Condolences

Sherman was a "great shoot" out cowboy of all time and I will miss him. He blessed my life just for knowing him a little bit and getting to love his antics.

I worked with Sherm for a little over 2 years at USDC, and he was the most amazing person I’ve ever worked with. I have so many fond memories with him. When I heard of his passing I was devastated. Sherman was the only reason I would go to work every day. He would always make me smile and laugh, even on the days when he would get upset and frustrated. I couldn’t ever stay mad at him. Sherman has taken a large portion of my heart with him to the next life. I’m so glad that he is no longer in pain, as well as no longer limited in his physical functions. I am even more glad that he has been reunited with his amazing mother and he no longer has to wait to be with her. He will be missed so much. He made me a better person and I feel truly blessed to have had the chance to learn from him. Love you Shermy Sherm!

I had the privilege of working with Sherman as one of his physical therapists at USDC. He always greeted me with enthusiasm and a zest for life. He loved his coloring books, puzzles, games, and clothes and always had something to show me and talk about each time I entered his apartment to see him or one of his roommates. He looked forward to meal time and van rides and would tell me about his adventures. Sherm has been a bright spot in my working days and I will miss him. He was truly a fun, energetic person and life at USDC will not be the same without him.
I am truly sorry for your loss .

Sherm was such a sweetheart! He loved flirting with the ladies, watching the staff arrive at work, eating in the cafe, attending parades, and greeting everyone with a "Come here, come here!" and giving them a big bear hug, or "shooting" them with his finger gun! I have so many wonderful memories of him. Thank you for sharing him with us for all these years. His passing has left a hole in our hearts.

I’ve had the privilege of working with and taking care of Sherman the last 3 years. I’m going to miss him like crazy. He was my favorite thing about walking through the apt door every morning. I would get this excited “hi momma!” Followed by a big hug. I’m going to miss the mornings spent drinking coffee with him at the table, him talking about anything and everything and watching cowboy shows. He will always hold a special place in my heart. He would always talk about momma coming and saving a spot for her next to him. It brings me such great peace knowing he’s not waiting for her anymore and that they are together. Anyone who knew Sherman knew how much he loved his momma.
Till we meet again Shermy, rest in peace cowboy.

Sherman is one of my most favorites! He brought me so much joy each time I saw him. His enthusiasm for life, his shoes, shirts, cowboy hat, coloring books, and all his staff (momma's) made my heart happy. He was so fun and always wanted me to sit right next to him so he could tell all about his treasures and adventures. Sherman truly was a gift to all who got to know him. He was also a great teacher. I am happy he is with his sweet Mother, but I am going to miss him greatly.

Sherm will be missed by all who knew him. I know there was a great reunion with Shirley, Paul and his sisters. I had the privilege of working with Sherm and getting to know his family. Birthday parties at his brother restaurant will always be a great memory of Sherm and the love his family had for him.
