Shirley was 93 years old when she passed peacefully on Saturday, Oct 15, 2022, in Lakewood, Colorado. She had Alzheimer disease for many years. However, she always remembered the love of her life, Ken.
Shirley was born on Aug 21, 1929, in Oakley, Cassia County, Idaho to Charles J Smith and Florence Jersucha Garrand. She married J. Kenneth Reid on October 27, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Shirley retired from United Airlines. She and Ken traveled the world together before his passing in 2012. She missed Ken dearly.
She and Ken never had any children. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Ken, parents, brothers Charles, Marvin, sister Joye, niece Norma Lee, sisters-in-law Rosalie, Nina, Dorothy, Phyllis, and Wanda.

Shirley is to be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, Utah next to Ken. A viewing will be held at 12:00 noon with graveside service to follow at 1:00pm on November 04, 2022
