Frank Richards McDonald

1955 ~ 2016

Richards grew up in Holladay, Utah and served an LDS mission in Japan. At the U of U, he received a Master's in business with International Relations, an Honors degree in History, and spent summers in school at Cambridge, England, and at Harvard, Massachusetts, where he met his wife.

Richards, whose passion was his career, was a world traveler and had a longing for discovery like his ancestor Dr. David Livingston, who first explored Africa, and from other ancestors who sailed the Mayflower in 1633.

Richards was a great-great-grandson of President John Taylor and Dr. Willard Richards, Mormon pioneers, who lived their faith.

Richards was a scholar and a gentleman. He was kind and thoughtful and was a man of character, wisdom, and integrity.

He is survived by his father, sister, wife, and an estranged half-sister, who lives out of town.

Funeral services will be held at the Crystal Heights Ward, 1970 East Stratford Ave (2600 So.), Saturday April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm. A viewing will be at 1:00 pm at the Ward. Friends may send acknowledgments to P.O. Box 17183 SLC, UT 84117.
