Life itself was the greatest adventure for Howard McKean Newson and every challenge was approached with a unique positive, quiet, unselfish manner. These traits were instilled in Howard by the kind, gentle and firm upbringing by his father Robert Charles Newson and Margaret McKean Newson who cherished their youngest son of six children and welcomed him into the world on March 14, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Howard was a modern 21st century man well before such a thing was known and has always been known for always being extremely well groomed, fashionably dressed and a classic chivalric gentleman. Always the epitome of health, fitness and charm, Howard caught the eye of Patricia Ann Hatt Newson a beautiful young beauty queen and proudly became her husband on September 1, 1950. The most sacred, dear accomplishment of Howard and Pat's incredible 66 year marriage are their adoring children, Howard McKean Newson, Jr. (Pamela Dunn Newson), Shauna Ho'opi'I'aina Aiken (Michael Aiken), David Kevin Newson and Annette Leach and their twelve loving grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A leader amongst men, Howard was always filled the leadership role in every capacity of his life. As a source of strength and wisdom Howard positively affected thousands of people throughout his life from his time as a young man at West High School to his role as founder, President and CEO of the east coast based, sixty-four branches of Spa Lady, Inc.. It has been most often said that Howard is the most influential person that one has ever known and had displayed qualities of a man that have almost been lost to time. All of Howard and Pat's friends and family are invited to bid Howard farewell at the viewing held at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Friday, June 16, 2017 at 12:30 pm and attend the lovely service held at 2:00 pm where everyone is welcomed to share their tribute to him.
