Stanley Jay Winrow left this life to join his loved ones on the other side on May 18, 2021, which was his 57th birthday. Stan was the fourth child of William H Winrow and Betty Jean McPherron. Stan grew up in West Valley, graduating from Granger High School in 1982. Stan loved sports. He excelled at baseball and basketball. He was on the 1980-81 Basketball Honor Squad from Granger High. Stan married Mindee Elison on June 24, 1983. From this marriage his son Jeramey was born. Stan and Jeramey were best of friends. Mindee suddenly died when Jeramey was 3 years old, leaving Stan and Jeramey to face the world together. They had a close and special bond with each other from that moment forward.

Stan liked to go camping and fishing, especially to Pole Creek Lake near Roosevelt. Stan was a fun-loving guy that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was very tender hearted and cherished the time he spent helping his mother, Betty. According to his mom, Stan was always a good boy and did everything for her.

Survivors include his son Jeramey (Ashley Green), mother Betty, sisters Debbie (Jay) Mark, Shauna Winrow, two grandchildren Willie Joe and Wrigley Winrow, as well as four nieces and two nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Mindee, his father Bill, big brother Joe, and favorite Aunt Barbara.
