Stevan “The Great” Vasic, 57, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away February 19, 2023. He was born in Los Angeles California to Veljko and Patricia Vasic. Stevan was the fifth of a family of six: Kosta (Jo) Vasic, Karen Vasic, Mark (Tammy) Vasic, Milan Vasic, Jonny (Kristine) Vasic. Stevan is survived by his former wife Marci Vasic and his four amazing children: Hopey (Chris) Allen, Brennan Vasic, Chase Vasic, Jensen Vasic; his favorite granddaughter Savannah Allen; and many nieces and nephews that loved their "fun uncle." He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Heidi Beck.

Stevan was an original. A businessman, an entrepreneur, an inventor, a scuba diver and a pilot. He loved to snowboard, mountain bike, listen to music, have lively debates, travel, and host people on his houseboat in Lake Powell. He was famous for his annual Christmas party to gather toys for Primary Children’s Hospital.

Stevan was a character that made lifelong friends through his short journey in this world. He was smart, strong, tough, and incredibly good-looking. He was firm in his beliefs but always sought the truth. He valued friendship and family above everything else. He could make anyone laugh.

The world is a little quieter and a little sadder without him but he will continue to make us smile in our memories.

Per Stevan's wishes, there will be a celebration of his life March 17 from 4-9pm. Please join his family and friends to share your favorite stories and memories. https://stevanthegreatcelebration.rsvpify.com

I was so incredibly lucky to have Stevan as a friend for more than 40’ years. His dry wit and hilarious comebacks make me giggle to this day. Funny, generous, kind and caring is the man I knew and the friend I could speak to after not seeing him in-person in months or years, and carry on like we never missed a day. I love you Stevan and will cherish our friendship forever. ❤️

I am so terribly sorry to hear that Stevan has passed away. I tried to remember the last time I saw him but unfortunately, it has been so long ago that I can't recall. In my mind, he is still a very young, carefree dashing teenager with long hair and a mischievous smile. I can see from the pictures you have shared that he is still a very handsome man with a sign of mischief still on his face, which is probably that adventurous spirit you are talking about, and that he was a good kind man that is LOVED by so many and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with each of you.
Love
