Our beloved Steven Christopher Johnson has graduated mortality and now joins his family on the other side. Steven was born July 25, 1976 to David Leland Johnson and Marilyn Pickett Johnson. He was born in Walnut Creek, California and grew up in the nearby town of Livermore.
Steven graduated from Livermore High School in 1995. While there he enjoyed his time on the wrestling team winning some and losing some. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served an honorable mission in Baltimore, Maryland. Shortly after his return, he married and was sealed to his sweetheart, Virginia Cummings Johnson in the Oakland, California LDS Temple. Amidst building an Eternal family, Steven worked to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Business Software Applications from Stevens-Henager College. Steven worked hard for his job as a Tech Support Specialist, but his most important role was that of a Husband and Father.
Steven will be remembered for his love of life. He was active in his community, loved Star Wars and martial arts movies and was quick to memorize the lyrics to his favorite songs. Steven led a quiet simple life, but above all he cherished his family.
Steven passed on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Orem, Utah after a sudden bout with illness. His quiet strength continues to show in the way his five children honor him. Steven will be missed, but in the words of Luke Skywalker, “No one’s ever really gone.”

Growing up with the Johnson family we shared many wonderful times together. I will remember Steven especially when I was his Cub Scout Leader. We met at my house. He was always so happy and excited for everything we were doing. My love to the family. May God bless and keep you!
oh my gosh I just heard about Steven passing, I
don't believe it, I'm so sorry to hear about his passing, my thoughts and prayers are with you,
I am very sadden at this time after hearing about the loss of my nephew Steven. My prayers and thoughts go out to his wife, Virginia, his children, his grandmother Marilyn, and the rest of his extended family.
Steven was one of my oldest friends. He and his brothers were my next-door neighbors when my family moved across town. He was always the strongest, bravest and most positive of our group. Being with Steven as a kid was like having Superman for a friend. I am so sad to see him go.
Our family is heartbroken to hear that Steven has passed. I loved being his Primary teacher and watching him grow. What a beautiful light in the Johnson family! May the Savior comfort all of you. We add our prayers and love.
We are saddened to hear of Steven's passing. We remember his gentleness, much like his father. We love the Johnson family and their wonderful friendship and all they added to our community. May you each find peace through the grief. All our love.
We are so sorry for your loss. I wish I would have got to know Steven more but just the little time I did I knew Steven was a great person and spiritual being. Please let us know if we can help in anyway. Your family is in our prayers.
