Steven Neil Winter, 68, passed away from complications with his third bout of Cancer on March 3, 2022 with his two daughters lovingly by his side.

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while,
you could miss it.”

Steve was an extremely hard worker, dedicated and determined to provide for his daughters and give them the life they deserved. His girls meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.

He wholeheartedly believed that you should always stand up for what you believe in and for what you know is right, a lesson he taught so well that he eventually found himself losing most arguments to his “mini-me’s,” a reality that he could not have been more proud of.

Others may have known him as a confident, yet quiet introvert, but once you got to know him you’d learn that he was an enthusiastic surfer & snowboarder, an amazing artist, a humorous storyteller, an avid reader, the epitome of ‘Goofy’ (Including the infamous laugh),a collector of Knick-knacks, a lover of in-n-out, and a dedicated U of U/USC football fan (Unless playing each other, then he was “Just hoping for a good game!”). He was a proud, certified instructor for the NRA for over 25 years & ensured his daughters were no exception to his lessons, both of which could recite the ‘4 Universal Rules of Gun Safety’ verbdom before the age of Three. In case you’ve forgotten, they are;

1) Treat all guns as if they are always loaded.
2) Never let the muzzle point at anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
4) Be sure of your target and what lies beyond it.

** With the addendum that “Guns don’t kill people, dads with pretty daughters do”.

Steve was an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was reunited with his parents Donald and Carol; and his brother Craig - What a reunion they must be having!

He is survived by his Siblings Scott and Donna; Sister-In-Law Lorrie; his daughters Winter and Nikki; three nephews and one niece; and grand-babies Bear & Layla.

Dad, God only knows what we’d be without you, but until we meet again;
“Whaaasuuup?!”, “Hoowwaaayyaaa?!”, and “As Always ↑”
- Love, Boop (Winter) & BooBoos (Nikki)
