Sue was born on 27 February 1951, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, to Alva Harrison Tippetts and Mary Woneighta (Bryant) Tippetts. She was named Seven Susan Evalyna Tippetts by her father. She spent all her years growing up in Salt Lake City except 1 year spent in Gresham, Oregon, when the family lived there. She also spent 1 year living in Boise, Idaho, with her oldest sister, Zoe Ella. During her earliest years, the family lived in town on what was then called Third West and Fourth North. A year or two after moving back to Salt Lake City from Oregon the family moved to what they called the farm on North Redwood Road. She lived there until she married.

Sue died at the University of Utah Medical Center on 31 May 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was married to her husband, Russell Leroy Ware on 29 January 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity on 4 March 1969 in Logan Utah Temple.

Sue spent the majority of her adult years rearing her five children, Susan Evalyn, Russell Leroy Jr., Shellie Anne, Ruth Maxine and David Allen. She also worked part time at K-Mart in Idaho Falls, Idaho and North Salt Lake, Utah. In 1994, she started working as a reservationist for Holiday Inn for 24 ½ years until retiring in 2019.

Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her children and grandchildren as well as her years of service in the Salt Lake City Temple and her local ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband, 5 children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the University of Utah Medical Center Emergency Room, Medical Intensive Care Unit, and the Palliative Care Unit for the services they provided to Sue and for the comfort and concern they provided to the family. Special recognition must be given to the following personnel in these areas as they took special care of Sue and made sure she was comfortable during her time being treated in their areas and prior to her death: Doctor Hallowell, nurses of the Medical Intensive Care Unit, and Palliative Services Unit.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 5 June 2021, at the Cannon Ninth Ward building (1250 West 1400 South, Salt Lake City) at 11 AM. Her interment will be at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (17111 South Camp Williams Road) on Monday, 7 June 2021 at 11 AM. I was only able to meet cousin Sue in person once, but we were friends on Facebook for several years and often chatted on the phone when my mom was still alive. Her father Alva was the oldest Tippetts boy; my mom Ruth was the youngest Tippetts girl.

My condolences to her family and friends.

Sue will always hold a special place in my heart. We grew up together and she will always be like a younger sister to me. So sorry to see her go but grateful for the knowledge that she is in a better place now. She's with her family on the other side of the veil and no longer suffering. May the Lord bless the Ware Family with peace and comfort at this time of your loss.
All our love,

Oh, Sue. You've gone back home! I so enjoyed knowing you as we worked in the temple together! You were always so supportive of all of us in the Youth Center and of course, the most important part, the children. I cherish the motion towels you made me. I always think of you! Love Marilyn Brown
