Susan Kay Hiner went to be in the hands of God on May 30, 2021. She passed peacefully in her son and daughter in laws home in Draper, Utah surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Kenneth B. and Verna V. Hancock on January 23, 1945 in La Junta, Colorado. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1963. She attended York Christian College where she met Randy A. Hiner. They were married August 21, 1965. She worked at Harding University as an administrative secretary while Randy finished his degree. They moved to Shonto, Arizona in 1968 where she had an in-home child care service. In 1976 the family moved to Tuba City, Arizona where she began her career as an administrative secretary for the high school. Then in 1987 the family moved to Page, Arizona where she continued her career as an administrative secretary until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed crafting, reading, traveling, and being with her family. She leaves behind her husband, Randy A. Hiner, her children Bart Hiner (Nikki Hiner), Tammy Smith (Paul Smith), and Mandy Hiner. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Jordan Smith, Kelsi Stewart (Kenny Stewart), Hannah Hiner, Nick Hiner, and Charly Hiner. Susan had a meaningful impact on all of those who knew her. Her generous spirit will leave this world better than she found it. She was deeply cherished and will be tremendously missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 12, 2021 at Page Church of Christ, 530 Vista Avenue, Page, Az.
