It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susie Wilcox on December 13, 2024, at her home in Murray, UT.

Susie was born on May 29, 1983, to Renee Miller (Brewster) and Tom Wilcox in Murray, UT. From the time she was young, Susie had many artistic talents. She loved to paint and draw, and often would use her talent of painting to gift miniature trinkets for those she loved. Susie was an avid music lover and enjoyed attending concerts of her favorite bands. Many of which were immortalized in the tattoos that adorned her body, a permanent tribute to the sounds that shaped her life. You could always find Susie at a punk rock show singing at the top of her lungs or dancing in the mosh pit.

In many ways, Susie was the life of the party. She garnered many friendships with her humor, charisma, and candor. Most of all, she was caring and cared about her friends and family greatly. She spent the last two years enjoying life with her partner, Cayla, and their dogs, Munch, Archer, and Riot.

She is survived by her partner, Cayla; her dogs, Munch, Archer, and Riot; mother, Renee Miller (Jeff); father, Tom Wilcox; sister, Nicki Wilcox (Sarah); brother, Matt Wilcox (Yurika); stepbrother, Jeff Miller (Ivy); Grandmother, Colleen Brewster; nephews, Joey, Kyan, Steven, Franklin, and Nolan; nieces, Madalynn and Amelia. Susie & I worked together at eBay over a decade ago. We kept in touch through social media. I am so heartbroken to hear of her passing. There are never enough words or even the right words to say. Sending love and comfort to her family. Her humor & big heart will be missed & kept fondly in my memory. I will continue to think of her anytime I listen to AFI.

I worked with Susie at Wells Fargo and she was always a sweet kind person. She would always keep in touch with me as my career led me away from Wells Fargo. Hearing of her passing hurts as I feel I would have like to see and talk to her once more. I pray she finds peace and love.
