Suzanne Carol Bishop

1978 ~ 2020

Suzanne died in the early morning of October 23, 2020, in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born on January 11, 1978, in Salt Lake City to Mary and Larry Bishop. She was the younger of their two daughters following her sister Leslie by only a little over one year.
Suzanne loved books, music, puzzles, games, and learning new things. From the time she was a child, she was always involved in creating things. She had a vivid imagination and was truly inventive. Her interests were wide-ranging and she worked in everything from wood and metal to crochet thread. She always had a project going from building her own hanging plant shelves to a fully quilted headboard.
Suzanne worked for years with both her parents in restoring classic cars. Her talents working on and even fabricating tiny parts were key to the success of their business.
Suzanne spent the last 6 years with Steven Derr sharing life with their beloved cats. Their home was a beautiful testament to her skills and the peace she found with Steve.
She is survived by Steve, her sister Leslie (Tim) Phillips, nieces Bridget and Eliza Phillips, aunt Carol Brady, uncles Russell, and Ted (Dora) Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents Larry George Bishop, Mary Joy Brady Bishop, and aunt Margaret Faye Brady.
She will be cremated. There will be a zoom remembrance service on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 5:00 PM MST.
