Click "Watch Services" link belowSuzanne Heinitz Dodge, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in the presence of her four children on May 12, 2024, in Herriman, Utah. She was born on June 17, 1941, in Helena, Montana, to Johann and Gertrude Lee Butler Heinitz.
Suzanne's life was one of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. She dedicated herself to her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and resilience. For the past three years, she found comfort and joy in the company of her daughter, April Dodge Anthony, in Riverton, Utah.
Suzanne was known for her diverse interests and passions. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her garden, singing, playing cards with friends and family, and scrapbooking. She also had a special love for quilting and genealogy. Suzanne cherished spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting bonds and precious memories together. One of her beloved traditions was giving each grandchild a Christmas ornament, a symbol of her love and thoughtfulness. Additionally, she found great joy in developing flower arrangements, expressing her creativity and love for beauty through this art form.
She is survived by her cherished children: Curtis Dodge (Shanna), Robin Marshall (Ward), April Anthony (Paul), and Aaron Dodge. Suzanne's presence in their lives brought warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Suzanne will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Mikayla, Megan, Marshal, Joshua, Jordon, Tyson, Dillon, Emily, Stacey, Kristopher, Kelsie, Austin, Joseph, Damien, and Arianna.
Her legacy further extends to her great-grandchildren: AaLeeyah, Zion, Zendaya, AaRyah, Ainsley, Kayda, Tyler, Trevor, Madelyn, Clara, Hazyl, Jak, Silas, and Roman.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Johann and Gertrude Lee Butler Heinitz, her brothers Paul, Raymond, and Victor, and her sisters Rebecca, Irene, Glenelle, and Redamae. She was also preceded by her grandson, Tyler Gregory Poulson.
Throughout her life, Suzanne touched the hearts of many with her gentle spirit and generous nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Larkin Mortuary – Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 1PM.

Graveside services and interment will take place at 1PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Helena, MT.

I’ve so many fond memories of my aunt Susie. She always had a special place in my heart. Robin, April, Curtis and Aaron and your families, I extend my sincere condolences.
We send our loves and prayers to Curtis, Robin, Aaron and April, our awesome nieces and nephews. You were honored to have a beautiful and loving mother who blessed you and so many others with the giving of herself in so many ways. You will always have so many wonderful memories, of which we were so happy to be a very small part of. May our Father God be with you all this Celebration Day!! With many loves and hugs!! ❤️
So sorry to hear of Suzies passing. We had many enjoyable phone conversations during the past 10-15 years and I got caught up on lots of family history. Enjoyed her visit with us in Sun City and when we would travel through Utah. She will be greatly missed by all.
