Hilda Glauser Ball

1918 ~ 2016

Hilda Glauser Ball, loving wife, mother and grandmother finished her life's journey as she passed peacefully on February 9, 2016 after battling Leukemia for ten long years. She was born on April 1, 1918 in Sorviliers, Switzerland to Adolph Glauser and Hellen A. Stehle.

She loved life! Thrilled to associate with family and friends, she cherished each day to its fullest. As Loved 1, she was married thirty-eight wonderful years to Ron Ball, Loved 2 on February 17, 1978. She enjoyed dancing at Murray Art's Center and the Organ loft with her sweetheart and many friends. She worked as a cosmetician at Grand Central/Fred Meyer for thirty-five years.

Thanks to the loving care of Dr. Jon Wall, the staff at Olympus Clinic, Dr. Harker, Dr. Call, Rick Hanson, staff of Utah Cancer Center, Quality Home Health and Hospice Service and staff, Hilda felt comfortable and loved.

Hilda is survived by her husband; Ron Ball, brother; C.J. Glauser, step-children; Randy (Carol) Ball, Rhonda (Harold) Thomas, Georgette (Ruben) Garza, Cynthia Winters, Grandchildren; Angela, Gregory, Amy, Gerrot, Heather, Dathan, Dameon, Christopher, Gregory, great grandchildren; Archie, Norah, Holly, Deakon, Raegen, Zak, nephews; Rawl Jordan, Tom Giles, nieces; Susan, JoAnn and Judy and many others too numerous to mention who she considered as family. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister Rachel Jordan.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. In Lieu of flowers donate to a charity of your choice or the Cancer Society.
