Liberty Mae Anderson

2014 ~ 2014

Liberty Mae Anderson was born October 30th 2014.She was born with congenital heart defects that could not be repaired with surgery. After spending 5 days in the hospital, she was brought home to live with her parents and brothers for as long as her heart could sustain her.

During her visit home Liberty had a family photo-shoot, went out for ice cream, ordered a happy meal, let her mom wear her in a baby sling, had a family picnic in the back of the Volvo, fed the ducks in the park, played Legos and had a dance party with her brothers, nursed, had her nails trimmed, took a trip to the grocery store for a lemon, tasted said lemon, watched America's Funniest Home Videos and The Amazing World of Gumball (a couple family favorites), napped with her family, learned how to make popcorn, listened to her family members read her bedtime stories, participated in family thankfuls at night, took a bath, video chatted with some of her cousins, received several visitors, got a bug juice at the gas station (which her mom tasted for her), received an outdoor tour of her brothers' elementary school, took photo-booth photos at the movie theater, went to the arcade, and looked directly into her mother's eyes while being sung to—a full rendition of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."

Liberty took her last sweet breaths lying next to her parents in bed on Sunday morning, the 9th of November. We love our little lady Liberty to no end. We are so grateful to her for coming to visit us for as long as she was able. We hope with all our blood-pumping-hearts to be with her again one day to watch her grow for she is thunder with lightning; she dances like fireworks exploding in the sky.

She is survived by her parents; Jon and Natalia Anderson and her brothers; Hendrix and Avi Anderson as well as many loving family members.

There will be an open viewing for Liberty on Wednesday the 12thof November, 1pm at Larkin Sunset Lawn. 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.

"…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

"It's funny, for all it took was a broken heart and that alone was enough, enough for her to do everything she ever dreamed of." ‚Robert M. Drake
