A Life That Shined Too Bright to Be Forgotten

Taylor Breanne Giles 07/07/1990 - 10/31/2026

Some souls are simply too beautiful for this world, and some lights shine so brightly that even when they are gone, their glow never fades. Our beautiful girl was one of those souls. Taken far too soon, she leaves behind a world that is a little less colorful, a little less bright, and forever changed by having known her.

She was a free spirit in every sense of the word. Sweet, funny, spunky, wonderfully weird, and unapologetically herself. Gorgeous inside and out, she had a way of making life feel bigger, laughter come easier, and ordinary moments become unforgettable. She loved deeply, lived boldly, and brought a little bit of magic wherever she went.

Her strength was undeniable, her humor contagious, and her joy and love had a way of making the sunshine brighter. She was the kind of person who brought out the best in others without even trying. She lit up every room, touched countless hearts, and changed lives in ways she may never have fully realized.

To those lucky enough to call her a friend, she was the weirdest, sweetest, most beautiful best friend anyone could ask for. She was a source of laughter, comfort, adventure, and unconditional love. She was a reminder to be yourself, embrace the unexpected, find joy in the little things, and never let the world dim your light.

Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will carry her spirit forward forever.

She is survived by her loving parents, Christi and Troy Christensen, and William and Whitney Giles; her siblings Dani (Eric), Jake (Morgan), Nick (Erica), Savannah (Jordan), Megan (David), Kristin, Jacob (Elizabeth), Devon; and her bonus siblings Kaleb (Andi), Sen (Brandon), Mason, and Grace; her grandparents Judy Giles, Laurel Gifford. Preceded in death by Owen Stephen Gifford (grandfather), Deloris Tims (grandmother), and Richard Giles (grandfather).

Her greatest joys and the loves of her life were her nieces and nephews: Brooklin, Liam, Remi, James, Kylie, Greyson, Evie, Lucas, Mickey, Charlie, and Maxx. She adored them beyond words, and each of them will carry a special piece of her heart.

She also leaves behind her loving boyfriend, Devan Sovinsky, who shared in her love, laughter, and journey.

While our hearts struggle to understand why someone with so much life left to live was taken so soon, we find comfort in knowing that the world was a better place because she was in it.

We will remember her in the laughter that catches us by surprise, the adventures that remind us of her, the music that makes us smile, and the moments when life feels a little more beautiful than expected.

She was wild, she was wonderful, she was strong, she was love. She was one of a kind.

She didn’t just live in this world. She made it brighter.

And although her story ended far too soon, her light will never stop shining in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of Taylor's life will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 from 5:00-8:00pm, at Le Jardin, 1910 E Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, UT 84092.

I always admired seeing Taylor throughout the years of high school, and facebook posts since we were really just mutual friends, but she was unapologetically to the core herself at all times! A spit fire like me which, always felt like a connection of how we operate in this world. Although, we weren't close, we shared mutual friends that we loved, laughs, said hello, and any time Taylor was at mutual events she always had a beautiful outfit with her big ol laugh&smile to go with! I hope her and Kyle Trees are laughing hard together once again! Sending my love to your family, and as an Auntie I hope her little ones can carry on her bright light! I could see how much she adored those kids 💗 with love-Tara C

My deepest condolences to Taylor’s Family and her friends. I met Taylor when she worked at Massage Envy over 10yrs. We became good friends as I went every week. She was so sweet, kind, funny, free spirit and the best massage therapist!! We ended up living together for a couple of years! She was the best roommate!! She ended up moving to Oregon for a short while then she ended up coming back. After that she moved around staying with friends then she went to San Francisco where she connected with family the she ended up moving back to Utah staying with family. We did keep in touch but I really did miss her all that time. I really will miss more than ever now knowing I will never see that beautiful person ever again!! This is not fare because she was taken too soon!! I love you my friend Taylor ❤️ Rest in peace in paradise

I remember meeting Taylor almost 12 years ago. It was 2014 and I had traveled from Utah to California with a music artist to film a music video. We stopped at Taylor’s house and visited with her for a while, and she was such a friendly, warm and welcoming person. She loved art and was so encouraging to me and the artist on the project we were making. We were just 2 broke artists traveling and needed a place to stay.

We were just friends on social media since then, but the news of losing her has broken my heart. I think that says a lot about who she was as a person. The fact we spent not even a full day together, and I’m weeping at the news of her passing.

My most heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. Taylor was a bright star for this earth and she is gone much too soon.
