Frieda Catherine Johnson Fife passed away on May 7, 2017 in SLC, UT at the age of 96. She was born July 12, 1920 in Terre Haute, IN to Alva Charles Johnson and Mary Kratzer. Frieda graduated from West High in 1937. She married Robert Moore Fife in Las Vegas, NV on May 3, 1946.
Frieda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a wonderful mother to her 7 children. She worked at and retired from Nielsen and Maxwell Engineering. Frieda was a classy lady, who always dressed nice and had her hair and makeup in place. She enjoyed puzzles, dancing, bingo, crosswords, crochet, old time TV shows and Wheel of Fortune.
Frieda is survived by her daughters, Lynda M. (John) Turcsanski and Suzanne, sons; Gary A. (Yvonne), Dennis M., John K. (Suzanne) and Ronald A. (Karin), sister Darlene Zeh, 19 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Moore Fife and son, Robert J. Fife.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
