Theodore Shane Sharp passed away peacefully on Friday January 12th under the loving care of Primary Children's Hospital.

Theodore was born on March 8th, 2014, at just 24 weeks gestation. He was a 1-pound 8 oz micro-preemie, set up to have challenges throughout his life. He was complex, born with Chronic Lung Disease, because of underdevelopment. Theodore pushed through and did so with a smile. He was always smiling.

Theodore spent 15 months in the NICU before coming home to his parents, Branden Sharp and Jessy Nelson. He defied all odds at birth and was able to experience a true, loving, quality life.

Theodore had an insane connection with music and could find it anywhere. He was a drummer, and always liked being percussive with whatever he could find.  He was the ultimate big brother. Rough housing, tripping, and being mischievous were just part of who he was.

If you've ever had the pleasure to meet him, you've felt the love he radiated. He just loved most everyone he met and was the king of affection.
Often giving forceful kisses and the biggest hugs, with the most aggressive back pats included. He was so smart and sassy, and although he was non-verbal, he could always find a way to get his point across. He would tell you how he felt with his sharp facial expressions.

Theodore taught us empathy, compassion, and unconditional love. He was the epitome of strength. We are eternally grateful for the time we were able to share with him.

We will always love and cherish you, Theodore.

We will be having Theodore's celebration of life, Wednesday January 24th 1pm-3pm in the Chateau Greenhouse, Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, Utah 84092.

Dinner will be served at 4:30pm Lone Peak Park Indoor Pavillion 10140 South 700 E Sandy, Utah 84070

Flowers can be sent directly to the mortuary.
