Thomas Daniel (Danny) Thomas

Thomas Daniel (Danny) Thomas, Age of 80, Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother passed away with loved ones by his side in his home Thursday March 11th 2021 in Murray, Utah. Danny was born on September 29th 1940 to Thomas Nalder Thomas and Ruth Thomas, who later divorced and Ruth married Lynn Dimond and raised Danny in Magna Utah. He served in the Navy for two years. Member of the LDS church. Married the love his life (59 years) Sherry Thomas at the age of 21.
Danny was a hard worker; he was not afraid to get his hands dirty. On his free time, he would work on cars. His garage is full of every tool imaginable. He had loved to go camping with Sherry and the boys though in his later years he preferred Las Vegas and Wendover. The lights and the sounds of the slots really got his blood going and his heart pounding. He loved to have his whole family over for the holidays, for the Jazz and Utah games. Danny was more of the silent, sit back and observe type but he had a sharp witty since of humor about him that he’d have everyone around him laughing and smiling.
Survived by his loving wife Sherry, Sons David and Mike, Brother Guy, His nephews Jay Thomas. His grandkids Laura, Justin, Larissa (Austin), Meghan, Ashley,( Guy), Steven( Nikki ).
His great grandkids Kaydance, Kaddan, Paxton, Rexxon, Daxtin, Aleyah, Kylee, Ryland, Gracie and Jayden.

Proceeded in death by his parents Ruth Dimond & Lynn Dimond, and Brother Jay Thomas.

A Viewing will be held Wednesday March 17, 2021 for friends and family from 6pm-8pm at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuaries at 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 So,) Sandy, Ut 84092. Graveside services will be held Thursday March 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Another viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 prior to funeral services for friends and family. Due to COVID-19 please wear masks and practice social distancing.
