Timothy Kresser

Timothy Robert Kresser, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, & friend, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 33.

Born on June 8, 1993, to Grodon Anthony Kresser & Diana Kay Kresser, Tim spent his entire life surrounded by the people, places, and memories that made Utah his home.

If you knew Tim, you knew he was hard-headed, stubborn, & never afraid to have an opinion - especially when he was wrong. & if you pointed out that he was wrong, well...you had better be prepared for a debate. But beneath that tough exterior was a heart far softer than he often let people see.

Tim had an incredible mind & a natural ability to understand how things worked. He could fix nearly anything he put his hands on, whether it was electrical, mechanical, or something that simply wasn't working the way it was supposed to. If something was broken, Tim was the person you wanted around.

Tim also had a love for obnoxiously loud music & an inappropriately timed sense of humor that could make you laugh when you probably shouldn't have been laughing. His personality was anything but quiet or forgettable. Whether the music was turned up way louder than necessary or he was making a joke that absolutely should have stayed in his head, Tim had a way of making his presence known. Those little things are the moments people will find themselves missing most.

Tim had a genuine love for children & always had a special softness when it came to them. He dreamed of one day having children of his own, & there is no doubt that he would have made an incredible father. Beneath his tough exterior was a tenderness that came through especially around kids, & those who knew that side of him will always remember it.

Tim's life was not always easy. He faced struggles & challenges throughout his years, but those who knew him knew that there was always goodness in him - a good heart beneath the rough edges, stubborn arguments, & unmistakable personality that made him Tim.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Gordon Anthony Kresser & Diana Kay Kresser; his siblings, Nicholas Kresser, Alexandra Kresser, & Bradley Kresser; & many extended family members & friends who were fortunate enough to know & love him.

Tim was preceded in death by his beloved niece Audrey Dean; his uncle Jim Sproul; his grandfather Delbert Kresser; his grandmother Jeanne Hauze; & many dear friends who went before him.

Tim leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind stories, laughter, lessons, repaired appliances that probably never should have been fixable, arguments nobody could win, & the imprint of a man who was loved more deeply than he may have ever realized.

He was complicated. He was stubborn.

He was brilliant. He was frustrating.

He was funny. He was loving. He was Tim.

And he will be missed more than words can say
