Antonia Z. de la Cruz, age 92, passed away peacefully in her home in Midvale, Utah on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Antonia was born on February 25, 1925 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Jose Zacarias and Maria Moreno. She was baptized on April 17, 1937 and was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. On October 6, 1967, she married Sebastian de la Cruz and together they faithfully served in many church callings. Aside from the church, her other passion was her family whom she loved with a pure and unconditional love. She was the light in the lives of many and loved by everyone who knew her. Her compassion and selflessness were an inspiration to all.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband Sebastian, daughters, siblings and close family friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
