Todd Beers Wilde, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021 with his loving family by him. Todd was born in Salt Lake City to Oswald and Emily Wilde and was the oldest of three children. Todd graduated from South High School and the University of Utah with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering which was his career. He married the love of his life Diane Morton in the Salt Lake Temple.
Todd was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings throughout his life. He served a mission to the Southern States Mission, served in many Bishoprics as well as Bishop of the Waterloo Ward, Wells Stake, and on the High Counsel. He also served in the Boy Scouts for many years. He had a strong testimony and love for Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.
Todd loved his family and spending time at their cabin and being in the mountains. Growing up he helped his father build a family cabin and was thankful that he could have his own. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
Todd is preceded in death by his wife Diane Morton Wilde, parents Oswald and Emily Wilde.
He is survived by son Kevin (Judy) Wilde, daughters Emilie (Nick) Nelson, Ashley Russon, brother Vern Wilde (Vicki), sister LuRhea Davis, and grandsons Jaxon Wilde, Carter Wilde and Logan Russon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E South Temple. There will be a viewing for friends on Monday, March 29, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and prior to the funeral on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Larkin Mortuary. The funeral can be viewed on Zoom, please contact the Family or Larkin Mortuary for additional information. Interment to follow at the Salt Lake Cemetery.
