Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother passed peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday, March 26, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.

Mom loved the outdoors. Fishing, camping, gardening, tending to her chickens and instilling the love for the outdoors within all her family. She was called home on a beautiful spring day with full color to view from above.

Mom attended West High and Granite High of which she graduated. Mom married John R. Claar and from that union they had 8 children. Their first 2 children passed in infancy. They were then blessed with 6 daughters. From there her family grew to 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren who she loved dearly and supplied all with love and of course chocolate. Moms career included forklift driving during the World War II era, Littons, Sutherlands and BLM in the OHV department. She was a member of the LDS Church, participated in the Rose Park Lady Lions Club, and made everyone cute ceramics and crocheted items. Mom also fulfilled her lifelong dream of 3 trips to Hawaii. Her family expresses a special thank you to the Draper Wentworth staff for their love and support, especially America, Teresa and Lejla.
