Lynn Earl Christensen

1946 ~ 2014

Lynn Earl Christensen passed peacefully from this life on February 27, 2014 due to bone cancer. He was born on November 19, 1946 in Preston, Idaho, to Earl Christensen and LeOra Kirby. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in MIA, many priesthood organizations, and Home Teacher. He had also been an ordinance worker at the Jordan River Temple. He graduated from Weber State College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Police Science. He then became a policeman for the Los Angeles Police Department. He was a lifelong hunter who appreciated the right of gun ownership. He has many trophy animals from special hunting units. He was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie. His children Jeanaea (Gabe) Lorton, W. Russ Christensen, six grandchildren, sisters: Arlene (Tim) Gatherum, Carolyn (Dave) Bradley. He is preceded in death by his parents and many loyal hunting dogs.

Funeral services to be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 11:30 AM at the Country Park 1st ward, located at 11251 South 2700 West, South Jordan, Utah.
