Doyle Gene Paulk passed away on Dec. 24, 2017. Born Aug. 7, 1931 in Geary, Calumet Co., Oklahoma to Parents Ruby Jewel Hunt and Ira Marrion Paulk. Married to Merle June Miller Oct. 4, 1956, later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on Jan. 11, 1969.
Doyle was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around sportsman. Loved his family's canyon retreat at Grass Creek, near Coalville Utah. Loved his hunting dogs and Peaches, his poodle. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the U.S. Marias.
His family was a great joy to him. He is survived by his children Raymond, Michelle, Leon; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings Jesse Paulk, and Claudette Palmer. Preceded in death by his wife, granddaughter Amber, daughter in-law Linda, and step brother Gail.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A viewing will be Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the same location.
