ReNee Harper Haggard passed away Jan 26, 2016 in Salt Lake City. For the past several years, her health has been declining. Her legacy of love, compassion and organizing will be greatly missed. She was born 88 years ago on October 20, 1927, in Honeyville, Utah and has lived in Utah most of her life.
Her life's experiences centered around her family and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings, but teaching was her favorite. While serving a LDS mission to the Central States Mission when she was 21, she met her husband Jerry W. Haggard who preceded her in death. She was an avid student, always reading and learning and teaching and a talented piano player.
ReNee leaves behind a grateful posterity of 5 children; Mrs. Cristie Sparks (John), Mark Haggard (Melory), Dr. Corte Haggard (Cheri), Todd Haggard (Heidi), Mrs. Kelly Halling (David); 18 grand children, 19 great-grand children and one sister, Mrs. De Revo Maddox.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Crescent Ridge 5th Ward, 11164 S. Londonderry Drive, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held there from 11:30 to 12:45 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences are welcome at www.larkincares.com
