Our sweet Susan Foster lost her battle with cancer in the late hours of Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Susan had her own firm beliefs about the afterlife and we know she\s still looking after and guiding us now.
A graduate of West High School, Susan married Tracy Foster on November 7, 1974. Susan loved everyone and loved life. She never lost her supportive and irrepressible spirit, and her grandson Brixton was the light of her life. Susan always put others before herself, and her family felt she was the glue that held them together.
One of Susan\s greatest passions was travel. She was an accomplished travel agent and loved to send people to new places almost as much as going there herself. Once she knew where you wanted to go she would arrange all the details and make sure it was a fantastic and memorable trip.
Susan is survived by her husband Tracy Foster, son Nicholas J Foster and daughter Holly Foster-Bohen and her husband Tory Bohen, sister Sharon Reese and her husband Robert Reese, brother Gary Douglas McGrath and his wife Adriana and her mother Shirley McGrath.
The family would like to thank everyone who cared for Susan during these last difficult days and months, to all family members who gave unfailing support especially her niece Kristen McGrath and son Nick, and the staff of CNS Hospice who tried very hard to ease her suffering and who gave such loving care to Susan during her last days.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy. A visitation will be held from 12:30 ‚ 1:30 pm prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
