Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and dear friend, Bob Porritt passed away on August 12, 2016. The son of Levi and Martha Porritt, Bob was born in Price, Utah on February 24, 1925.
Bob grew up in Myton, Utah and his family later moved to Salt Lake City. He eventually served as a Military Policeman for the United States Army during WWII and later met Cleo Jones Brundage, they married and spent 43 wonderful years with one another. Together they enjoyed camping, outdoor recreation and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Herriman Rose 1st Ward Chapel, 13122 South Herriman Rose Blvd. A viewing will take place Tuesday morning from 9:30 ‚ 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the Ward. Interment will take place at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
