Margaret Suzanne Valentine

1941 ~ 2018

Margaret Suzanne Valentine was born on May 26, 1941 to Joseph Howard Valentine and Florence Amelia Stewart. She was a noble character in the eyes of God and those who knew and loved her. She returned home to her Heavenly Father suddenly but peacefully on the day after Thanksgiving. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "She has done what she can."

She grew up on the middle avenues, attended Ensign Elementary, Stewart Jr. High and graduated from West High School in 1959. She attended Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Sociology.

She spent most of her professional life as a social worker, for the State of Utah and various agencies in the community. She also enjoyed her brief excursions as a travel agent, microwave cooking specialist, and creator of children's games.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She loved attending family gatherings and playing games, where she would impress everyone with her southern accent and gaming skills. She also enjoyed travelling the world, watching movies (especially musicals), temple work and genealogy.

She is survived by her siblings: Gay (Don) Genet; Judith Valentine; Richard (Vickie) Valentine, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her older brother Stewart.
