Kenneth Lee Knox

1926 ~ 2018

Our world lost another fine man this week. Our old friend, Ken, passed away peacefully in the evening of May 2, 2018 from complications due to age. He was 92. Ken was an Ohio farm boy who was shaped by the Great Depression and the early deaths of his brother and parents to become a strong, honorable and entirely self-sufficient man. He was a B-17 crewman during World War II and a business graduate of Ohio State University. He went on to spend an active life working as a manufacturer\s representative, a small business owner, an investor and a cab driver. In the late 60\s Ken came to Utah to ski. In 1980 he met our mother, Edie Roberson (The Love of his Life!) and kept her company for the next 35 years. Ken loved to ski and to fish, and to work the gardens he and our mother shared. Together they explored the mountains and deserts and seashores of the West. Ken was a wonderful man. He was hard-working, honest and reliable, always gracious and extremely generous with his time and resources. He was eternally optimistic, and he will be greatly missed. We wish to thank the wonderful folks at City Creek Post Acute and Canyon Hospice for the thoughtful care they provided to Ken during the last weeks of his life. \"It is the best of all possible worlds.\"
