In loving memory of Rebecca Van Ness Chudik, age 77, passed away September 10, 2015 with her loving husband by her side. She had suffered from Lewy Body Dementia.
Rebecca was born on June 3, 1938 in Evanston, Illinois to Clarence Herrmann and Anna Davis Van Ness. She grew up in Shreveport, LA and had also moved to New York with her parents. She worked at Arthur Anderson Co in Milwaukee, WI where she met her husband of nearly 50 years at an annual Christmas party in 1962. They were married 2 years later. She retired in 1996 as a Military Pay Technician at Fort Douglas.
She attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison for 2 years and earned an Associate of Art's Degree at Stephen's College in Columbia, MO. She also earned a Social Studies Secretarial Degree at Prospect Hall in Milwaukee, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother.
She is survived by the love of her life Thomas Chudik, son; Chris Chudik from Phoenix, AZ, daughter; Barbara Chudik Nusz from Clearfield, UT and granddaughter; Jessica Nusz.
Services will be held privately by the family. Burial will be held at Veterans Memorial State Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Rebecca's name to the University of Utah Neurology Clinic for research of Lewy Body Dementia.
