Tyce Stratton Olsen

2003 ~ 2014

Our loving son, brother, grandson and friend Tyce Stratton Olsen, age 10 passed away on March 16, 2014, from injuries sustained in a motocross accident. Tyce was on his last lap, the checkered flag was waving when he was suddenly called home.

Tyce was born on November 4, 2003 in Salt Lake City, UT to Chad and BreeAnn Allen Olsen. He was the oldest of three children. Tyce loved motocross and raced competitively. He competed all over the nation and gained many friends through his motocross associations. He had the ability to connect with anyone and was well liked by all who met him. Tyce had a magnetic personality and was very outgoing and loved life.

Tyce couldn't wait for his next adventure of riding dirt bikes on the motocross track and in the desert. He loved fishing with his grandpa and spending time with his "buddies." Tyce loved every second he spent with his dad as they traveled to different competitions nationwide. His dad was his best buddy. Tyce would never stop. He was energetic and made the trips memorable for everyone. He loved his dog Nitro and tormenting his sisters.

Tyce was a passionate and courageous boy and in his final act of kindness and love, he was able to pass on the gift of life to others by donating his organs. It broke our hearts to see his little body begin to fail, but we are comforted to know that his heart is still beating strong, offering life to another child.

"Little man, I thought we would have a lot more time together. If someone would have told me I was going to lose you so soon, I would have thought they were insane. I'm going to miss the little things: your spicy personality, the quarrels and negotiations over your unfinished homework and the bargaining you attempted. I am going to miss your extremely high energy level and never wanting to hold still for more than two minutes. I am also going to miss your endless pleas for whatever you wanted. Most of all, I will miss your beautiful face, your long eyelashes, the freckle on your scalp, your perfect little nose and "snuggly" body. Visit me in my dreams beautiful boy! Till we meet again\" ~ Love Mom.

\"Tyce, somehow we lived 30 years in a 10 year period, and I loved every second if it. Love you buddy!\" ~ Dad.

Survived by his parents, two sisters: Taya and Tyli; and many other loving family members.
