Gary Hoffman Green, age 73, passed away October 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born October 30, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Earl and Helen Green. He is a graduate of Olympus High School and the University of Utah. Gary married Linda Romney Green on January 12, 1967. He was an avid golfer and a member of Alpine Country Club. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Tammy (Darren) Ottley, Stephanie (Scott) Bauman; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Kevin; granddaughter Angel; parents; and brother Tom.
At Gary's request, an open house celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1-3 pm at Gloria Romney's house, 1923 Rocklin Drive, Sandy. If you would like to honor Gary, have a beer at 2 pm, watch "Ellen" at 4 pm and have a glass of wine at 5 pm.
