Cash Vaughn Kohler

Cash Vaughn Kohler \"Ching-ching\", 17, of Sandy, UT passed away on January 15, 2020. Cash was born in Sandy, Utah on March 25, 2002. He was a senior at Alta High School.

Cash had a passion and a great talent for music. He played in the Alta High School marching band, drums, timpani,and xylophone. Cash enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and parties at Grandma D\s, rock-climbing,drawing, back-packing, and shows like Full Metal Alchemist, Rick and Morty and Dr. Who. He was interested in studying science, art, music, and medieval history. Cash told great stories and had an intelligence beyond his years. He was a champion for the disenfranchised and underdogs. As a child, Cash was fearless and took on every challenge without hesitation. His greatest admirers were his brothers Carson and Carver. Cash will be remembered for many great accomplishments in his young life, his big smile and heart, and overcoming the impossible. He will always be remembered as saying "That was awesome!" Those who knew Cash, even just a little, will be inspired by his legend.

Cash is survived by his parents Tracy (Paul) Kohler and Jason Daniel Kohler, brothers Carson J Kohler (20) and Carver Daniel Kohler (11), grandparents Daniel Kohler and Denise Kohler and Vaughn Paul, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Penny Paul.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
