Dianne Airmet Johnson, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at home on July 27, 2014 in SLC, Utah. Dianne was born October 5, 1945 in SLC, Utah to Afton A. and Myrtle N. Airmet. She married her loving husband, Howard (Ward) R. Johnson, Jr. on January 13, 1995, joining their two families. She is survived by her husband, children: Kelly (David), Lori (Rick), Reid (Danielle), Amy, Crystal (Robert), Erin, Kami (Jeffrey); grandchildren: Aleece, Derek, Zachary, Sidney, Joshua, Braiden, Conner, Ariana, Harley, Ethan, Rebecca, Jayden, Canyon, Kelton and Adilyn and a great-grandson, Aiden.
Dianne's example of strength, perseverance and generosity will never be forgotten. Despite her physical constraints, her ability to touch others was unlimited. She leaves behind untold memories and experiences that can't be matched. Those who had the opportunity to know Dianne will never forget her. She filled a space in each life she touched that no one else could.
Services will be held Monday, August 4 at 12 noon at Parley's 4th Ward, 1870 E. Parley's Canyon Blvd., SLC, Utah. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dianne's life on Sunday, August 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, SLC, and Monday at the Ward from 10:30-11:45 a.m., prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
