Airman First Class, Alic Matthew Collier, age 19, passed away September 15, 2015 in Warner Robins, Georgia, while serving his country. Alic was born January 23, 1996 in Columbus, Georgia, to Matthew and Linda Collier. He was a beloved son, brother, best friend and also loved by many. He was a 3rd generation veteran following his dads and brothers footsteps, He was sworn in February 17, 2015. He loved playing golf, fishing, going to Trafalga to ride the go-karts. He loved driving his mustang around and was so proud of it. Alic was a very motivated and driven man, and if he set his mind to something, he could do it. We know God only takes his very best children, but he will be missed by many.
Alic is survived by his Father Matthew Collier, (Tawny Collier, Savannah Collier) from Central City, IL, Mother ‚ Linda Collier-Podany, Kris Meeks, Shawntay Beardall, Skylee Meeks, Brayden Meeks, Brylee Meeks, Lance Meeks, Makayla Hardinger, Alic Meeks ,Dad ‚ Brad Podany, Tina Holdaway-Podany, Brianna Podany, Madison Podany, Joey Gomez, Kylin Dejesus, Kassie Holdaway, Kylea Risinger, Kaydence Holdaway Great Grandparents ‚ Marcella Hall Centralia, IL, Grandparents ‚ Mike and Donna Collier Odin, IL, Kathy Podany Omaha, NE. Not to exclude multiple Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Illinois, Georgia, and Nebraska. Preceded in death by: Grandmother Patsy Jones, Grandfather Bobby Miller, Great Grandparents Bob and Betty Collier from Illinois, Grandfather ‚ Francis (Butch) Podany, Omaha, NE.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah. Viewings will be held Friday September 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
