Joyce Anderson Miner returned to her Heavenly Father, Tuesday September 29, 2015. She was born on August 23, 1952 in Logan, Utah to Earl Raymond and Phyllis Wiser Anderson. Joyce was the youngest child of 3 and the only girl.
She attended Logan High School, graduating in 1970. She married Kent R. Miner on May 26th 1972 in Logan, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She graduated from LDS Business College in 1973. She worked for OC Tanner for 28 years and retired in 2000 as Manager of Accounting. Joyce was a member of the LDS church and served in several callings. She had a passion for genealogy and enjoyed traveling with Kent and Eric to Newport Beach, CA for many summers. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her beautiful yard. Her love of plants was displayed throughout her home. She loved spending time with her two grandkids, which brought her so much joy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Joyce is survived by her husband Kent, son Eric (Cindi), 2 grandchildren Max and Scarlett and a brother Bruce (Sally) Anderson. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Brent Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Cottonwood 5th Ward, 5931 S. Highland Drive, SLC, UT. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S) Sandy, UT, and on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.
